		Stan Morey entered the Arabian horse business in 1977 when he opened his own barn in Edmond, OK. Since that time Stan has continuously operated the same facility, breeding, training and showing Arabian and half-Arabian horses. He has trained or shown several national champions and many top ten horses in halter, English, western and hunter divisions. The latest national champion was this fall in half-Arabian park amateur. Stan has served as the president of the Arabian Professional and Amateur Horseman's Association. One of his duties is to serve on their national horse show committee to help improve showing conditions for horse show exhibitors. Currently he serves as the Oklahoma representative to the Region IX board of directors. On the national level he serves on the Judges and Stewards evaluation committee (EEC). In 2002 he was selected as the Horseman of the Year. Stan holds a level I status judges card for the Arabian divisions and an A rated card in NSH. The majority of his judging is done at various regional shows. He has judged Canadian Nationals twice and has twice gone to Brazil to judge, the last time being to judge Brazilian Nationals in 1996.
