Raye Lochert was born in Northern California. He has creatively figured out ways to
work with or be around horses since he was 7 years old. Raye completed the John Lyons
Certification Program in 2002 and quickly became one of Johns most successful graduates.
Though I continue to study different trainers methods to constantly improve myself, I
still learn more from the horses. They are the greatest teachers of all. Currently,
he resides in Santa Rosa, California with his wife, Sharon, and their two children where
they operate Raye Lochert Horsemanship.
The goal of Raye Lochert Horsemanship is to offer people, whether beginners or top level competitors, a safe and comfortable environment where they have fun developing a better understanding and level of communication with their horse that enables them to overcome obstacles. Rayes schedule includes clinics and symposiums at their ranch and at facilities across the US and at special events. When not training people or horses, Raye enjoys scuba diving, hiking, photography and softball with his family.
