“We are proud and honored to become members of the Sundowner Pro Staff team.”

Keith and Nikki Longacre call Glenpool, Oklahoma, their home. Situated on 20 acres just south of Tulsa, they own and operate one of the prettiest and most efficiently designed horse operations around. With a beautiful large stone ranch home complete with a fireplace mantle lined with trophy belt buckles and trophies. The barns have 18 stalls, indoor arena and an outdoor roping arena. The pastures are graced with great broodmares that are usually in foal to some of the great stallions of the halter and pleasure horse industry.

Both Keith and Nikki grew up with horses. Nikki started riding at age seven, and showed in the AQHA as a teenager as well as IPRA barrel racing. She began training outside horses in 1980. Keith was raised in a family that managed breeding programs and worked feedlots for the past AQHA president Leo Winters. From the time Keith could straddle a saddle, he wanted to rodeo and competed seriously in the Jr. Rodeos in Oklahoma and made a good name for himself.

He and Nikki met on the Tulsa horse show circuit and married in 1996. They have 5 children from previous marriages.

Keith started judging in 1985 and holds 5 different association cards. He has judged many World Championship shows, and currently judges about 35 shows per year in addition to the numerous shows they compete at.

Nikki began judging in 1992 and currently holds cards in 3 associations and also judges a fair amount of shows through the year.

The Longacre's focused their training and showing mainly in the performance horse industry until 1998, when they shifted to primarily training and showing halter horses – PALOMINO halter horses, young futurity prospects and helping their amateur competitors. In addition, they both show AQHA and APHA horses for their customers.

To relax, Keith loves to rope. For example, on New Years Day, he competed with more than 1700 entries at the Lazy E Arena's Super Bowl XI in Guthrie, OK. The roping extravaganza has huge prize money. Keith ended up breaking the barrier and still placed in the top 15. Had he not broken the barrier, he would have placed 2nd overall.

Some of the great World Champion, Congress Champion and Top Winning show horses that have come from the Longacre program include – Flashy Incognito, Skip Town Tammy, Skip Town Cindy, Zipped up Sensation, Crystalline Cross, Reba Rosita Flash, and many others including PHBA World Champion halter, pleasure and roping horses.

Stop in and get to know this fun and capable duo when you are in the Tulsa area... their smiles are contagious, and hospitality warm and friendly.
