Chris Arentsen has been involved with horses his whole life. He began riding almost before he
could walk and competed in western pleasure for several years before he switched his focus to halter.
Chris was born and raised in Trenton, IL, which is where he still calls home. After college, where
he graduated with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, he followed his love for horses and
opened his own training facility in 1998. Today, Chris stills feels a tremendous sense of pride working
with his youth and amateur clients and sharing the excitement of showing world class halter horses.
Chris has trained and shown several PHBA World Champions, Top 10 AQHA World Show horses, along with
multiple Top 5 Congress horses. He has also trained, shown, and hauled numerous national high point
and reserve high point halter horses.
Chris is a lifetime AQHA member and a member of the AQHA Professional Horseman. In addition to
being on the Sundowner ProStaff Team, he is also on AQHA Team Wrangler for 2007.
