Andy Staton grew up in Hanson, Ky where he began showing halter horses when he was knee high to a grass hopper.
His parents Jeff and Diane Staton have been training and showing halter horses for nearly 25 years.
Their business was always centered around a love for family and great horses. This legacy has been passed down to their son Andy.
Its hard to say when Andy's career as a trainer began. He was pulling horses out of their stalls and setting them up for customers in his barn before he was even old enough to compete at the Youth World Championship Show. Within the past few years he has began competing on a professional level with a tremendous amount of success in a very short time. He has trained several Paint and Appaloosa World Champions , 2 AQHA World Champion and 3 Congress Champions. Andy lives in Hanson, Ky with his wife, Kendell and step-daughter, Kennedy. He has a 25 stall show barn where his father and he train and breed world caliber halter horses. He looks forward to a successful future fueled by a dedicated program and a drive for training great horses. |
